The election is eight days away, and early voting has begun in states across the country. FiveThirtyEight’s latest Senate forecast gives Republicans a 63 percent chance of winning the Senate, and that number has been fairly consistent since we launched our model in early September.
So, we’ve got about week for political junkies to pore over polls, and speculate who has the advantage in Georgia, Kansas, Iowa and the other battleground states. Have a question about those polls, those advantages, our Senate model or other Election Day topics? Nate Silver, FiveThirtyEight’s editor in chief, and Harry Enten, our senior writer and analyst for politics, will be answering your questions in a chat on our Facebook page Tuesday at 12:30 p.m. EST.
About an hour before the chat, we’ll open a comment thread to questions. Note: You must have a Facebook account to post a question, and we will not be taking or answering questions in the comments below. We’ll do our best Tuesday to answer as many questions as we can.
